Bass-Hoover Elementary School, home of the Stingers, implemented a school-wide program designed to build a greater sense of community within the school. Students and staff were randomly grouped into 6 different swarms to achieve cross grade level collaboration. At the end of each quarter, they hold a Swarmapalooza to celebrate and participate in team-building activities throughout the day. Principal Darren Thomas, Kindergarten Teacher Hannah Duncanson and students discuss the benefits of the program.
