    Vision Statement

As professional school counselors, our vision is to create a learning environment that fosters healthy growth and development and allows all students to reach their full potential. Admiral Richard E. Byrd Middle School students will become high-achieving students equipped with the tools needed to excel throughout high school and beyond. To successfully accomplish our vision, the school counseling department will filter through every aspect of the school system and gain full participation and support from school personnel, parents, and students. Together, we will ensure that our students have the knowledge, character, initiative and self-confidence needed to be successful in all their endeavors.

Admiral Richard E. Byrd Counseling Dept consists of three school counselors and one registrar/secretary. One school counselor is assigned to each of the three grade levels and works with those students as they progress from sixth through eighth grade. Learn more about our counseling staff.
