428P - Student Released During School Day

  • A student may be released from attendance during the school day only with the prior written permission of the parent/guardian and with the approval of the principal/designee. The principal/designee may grant such permission if the release is for an individual student for justifiable reason. Groups or large numbers of students may not be released unless the release is pursuant to a previously approved school field trip or school-sponsored activity and the principal/designee finds the release will not disrupt school programs or operations.

The principal/designee is authorized to adopt such further rules not otherwise inconsistent with this policy.
