Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) Town Hall Meetings
Dr. Hummer will be holding three town hall meetings over the next two months to share information with parents and the community about the FCPS Capital Improvements Plan (CIP).

Edulog Parent Portal App
FCPS families can now use the Edulog Parent Portal for real-time location and information for your student's bus transportation. Learn more about the app.

Free and Reduced Price Meals
Eligible families are encouraged to apply to participate in the free or reduced priced meals program for the 2023-24 school year. Thanks to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), free school meals will be available to all students at several schools this year.

Bass-Hoover Elementary School, home of the Stingers, implemented a school-wide program designed to build a greater sense of community within the school. Students and staff were randomly grouped into 6 different swarms to achieve cross grade level collaboration. At the end of each quarter, they hold a Swarmapalooza to celebrate and participate in team-building activities throughout the day. Principal Darren Thomas, Kindergarten Teacher Hannah Duncanson and students discuss the benefits of the program.
