Heat-related Illnesses
During high temperatures and/or humidity, supervisors of practices and competitions will make accommodations, including:
- More frequent and longer water breaks.
- More frequent and longer rest breaks.
- Reducing equipment worn.
- Modifying total practice time.
- Changing activity location.
Student-athletes will have unhindered access to hydration at all times as per SB1104.
