Summer Pathways for Progress: In-School Credit Recovery
The Summer Pathways for Progress program for rising 10th-12th grade students is a 4-week program designed to give students the opportunity to recover unearned credit from certain qualifying courses previously taken during the regular school year. Students work with a teacher in a classroom setting for three hours daily, concentrating on priority standards to master content essentials associated with the specific course. Students who successfully complete the course and receive a passing grade at the end of the program will be awarded course credit. The student’s transcript will be updated to reflect a passing grade. If an accompanying SOL test is tied to the course, students will be required to retake the SOL test after the program.
Attendance for the program is by application, and is limited by staffing, class size, and building principal recommendation.
