Trent Dickey, Special Instructional Assistant

Mr. Dickey has been a 1:1 Instructional Assistant supporting a specific student in our school for multiple years, and demonstrates an unsurpassed level of dedication to his learner. He doesn't just monitor medical or academic needs; he knows this child so well that he can anticipate when more support will be necessary before anyone else has a clue. He even dresses up as Pete the Cat to motivate his learner and bring joy to their day. Mr. Dickey has gone above and beyond the call of duty time and time again, ensuring his learner has all the love, devotion, and care any child could ever hope to have from a trusted adult in their life.
