We wanted to make you aware of our arrival and dismissal procedures for the upcoming school year. Below is information pertaining to bus riders and car riders.
The unloading and loading busses will remain staggered. Our staff will support students during their transitions. If you have questions regarding transportation, you are welcome to call the school at (540) 662-2289 or the Transportation Department at (540) 667-2770.
Our procedures for car riders will be similar to last year. During arrival and dismissal times, we have to work to prevent traffic from backing up onto Martinsburg Pike (Rt. 11). We are going to need some help from families in order to make this happen. Please pay attention to the direction of the staff members in the parking lot. There will be a lot of congestion and we want to keep everyone safe.
During dismissal, we will continue to ask families to stay in their cars. Whether or not you regularly pick up your student or not, please use this electronic pick-up form to communicate your intentions to the school. You can also use this QR code to access the form.
For those who do not have electronic access, please use the “blue notes” provided to you at the beginning of the year to communicate with the school. It is necessary to complete one of the pick-up forms every day. Car numbers will be assigned and distributed during the first few days of school. Please display them in your vehicle’s window when picking up. Parents who may be late dropping off their student should park in the parking lot and walk their student to the main entrance at the front of the school.
Thank you all for your continued support and communication. We are looking forward to the start of a wonderful year! If you have any questions, please reach out to us at (540) 662-2289.
