On Monday, October 25, Frederick County Middle School will be honoring National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a "Pink to School" Day, where we are inviting scholars to come to school in as much pink as possible to spread awareness of a disease that impacts so many families in our community.
Following our "Pink to School" Day, we will be hosting our "Pinkout" Tailgate at our last home game of the season against Daniel Morgan Middle School. Our Frederick County Middle School community is invited to join us in the stands wearing pink in honor of the event. Permission slips for the tailgate will be handed out and will be required for the after-school event. If you need another permission slip, please see your P.E. Teacher.
At our last football game of the season, flags will be displayed for breast cancer survivors in our community, and for those we've lost to this disease. If you wish for a friend or loved one to appear on a flag, please email their name(s) to Shawn Gardner at email@example.com.
