Millbrook Names New Golf Coach
Millbrook High School will have a new head golf coach for the 2023-24 season. Tim Deegan will succeed Mark Manspile who is leaving the position after 10 years. During Manspile’s tenure as golf coach, Millbrook had 4 All-District players, 8 Individual Qualifiers for the Region Tournament and the 2021 team qualified for the Region Tournament. Manspile has resigned to spend more time with his family and will continue in his role as a Business Teacher at Millbrook.
Deegan has been a recreational golf player and student of the game since 1985. He is currently the assistant golf coach as well as head JV coach and assistant varsity coach for girls’ soccer.
Deegan says, “I am honored and excited to continue Millbrook’s golfing tradition created by Coach Manspile.”
Millbrook High School Coordinator of Student Activities T.J. Rohrbaugh says, “Millbrook High School appreciates the time and effort Mark Manspile has devoted to the Millbrook Golf Team over the last 10 years. While Coach Manspile will be missed, Millbrook is excited to have a familiar face in Tim Deegan taking the reins. Tim has coached girls’ soccer and golf at Millbrook the past few years and has done an excellent job working with our student athletes. The Millbrook Golf Team is in good hands moving forward and we are excited for the future.” “Home
