5th Grade Matriculation
Our fifth grade matriculation ceremony will be held on Friday, June 3 at 9:30 a.m. in our gymnasium. Students are encouraged to dress their best for this special occasion. Please arrive for the ceremony around 9:00 a.m. to obtain seats.

D.A.R.E. Graduation
Parents and families of our fifth grade students are invited to attend the D.A.R.E. graduation on Friday, May 27 at 1:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Kindergarten Recycling Project
Dr. Sovine, Jeri Swogger and Dr. Angelo joined Mrs. Wittenberg's class on Friday morning to see her students present their creative and ingenious recycling projects. Students were paired up in small groups and had to come up with a plan for recycling in our school.

Staff Awards Presented
Congratulations to Fontella Newman (Rome Award), Karen Mackie (Macintosh Award), Ciara Adam (York Award) and Roy Reynolds (Gala Award) for being our staff award recipients for the 2021-2022 school year.

Evendale Elementary 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to Sara Landis for being voted by her peers as the 2021-22 Teacher of the Year at Evendale Elementary School. Ms. Landis, who teaches third grade, has been with Evendale for the past 6 years.

Spirit Day
The Student Council Association has voted and Evendale Elementary School will celebrate its spirit once a month during the school year on a Friday.

Jordan Springs Elementary School launched a student mentor/buddy program in 2021-22 in which fourth and fifth grade students serve as buddies to some of their peers in kindergarten and first grade. The program is helping the younger students feel more comfortable at school after having their normal school experience disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic the past two years.
