ESSER III Spending Plan
Frederick County Public Schools has been awarded $10,793,768.89 in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief lll (ESSER lll) funding.

Free and Reduced Price Meals
The U.S. Department of Agriculture waivers that allowed all FCPS students to receive free school meals the past two years have expired. This means school breakfast and lunch will not be available to all students at no cost during the 2022-23 school year. However, eligible families can participate in the free and reduced priced meals program.

Immunization Clinic
Frederick County Public Schools is collaborating with the Frederick/Winchester Health Department to offer a variety of vaccinations to students during an immunization clinic being held on Wednesday, August 10 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. at the former Robert E. Aylor Middle School located at 901 Aylor Road in Stephens City.

School Quality and Perceptions Survey Results- The results from the 2022 Frederick County Public Schools School Quality and Perceptions Survey reveal a majority of students, parents and school-based staff rate the overall quality of their school as good or excellent.

This is the third and final video in a series highlighting a group of Sherando High School students who built an electric car and competed in the 2022 Shenandoah Valley Electric Vehicle Grand Prix. In this video, the students detail the final preparations they made to the vehicle prior to the race as well as the outcome of the race itself.
